Partnership Floorfy and Papernest : the new company of the sector

Papernest is one of the latest companies with which Floorfy have established a partnership, adding to the list of partners who now know about our 360° tours. All of them share a common goal: to improve the user and customer experience through our advanced technology. Soon, this Barcelona based company will begin to enjoy the benefits of Floorfy's real estate innovations and we are convinced that many others will follow suit.

What is Papernest?

Papernest is a startup launched in 2015 in France by Philippe de la Chevasnerie and Benoît Fabre, with aim of helping those who are moving house or office. They achieved this by helping to simplify all of the administrative procedures that must be carried out in these situations. This ranges from cancelling old contracts to organising electricity supply.

In just two years, the business grew to 100,000 users and 130 employees. Today, it has more than 700,000 customers and 770 collaborators. The figures have not stopped growing since and received notable recognition along the way. In 2018 it was ranked 50th in Great Places to Work Awards (GPTW). In addition, in 2020, it became part of FT120, thereby distinguishing it as a company on the way to becoming a global technology leader.

It offers an all in one platform for all processes needed to relocate, saving time and effort for its users. In addition, they present customers with different options for each type of supply, so they have the opportunity to choose the most advantageous one for them. This system is based on an affiliation business model: the platform works with different suppliers, who give a commission for each customer they win. And for the user who leaves the administrative procedures in their hands, the service is free of charge.

Papernest was originally named "Souscritoo", a name which recently changed in 2018. Why search for a new name? Well, it was deemed more appropriate when dealing with the expansion to other countries such as Spain; where it landed in November of that same year. Its offices then opened in Barcelona, employing around fifty people. A year later, its services began to be offered to the public also in Italy and, in 2020, in the United Kingdom.

What are the benefits of this agreement between Papernest and Floorfy?

As a direct consequence of the agreement we have recently reached, Papernest reenforces the position it has enjoyed for some years now as a leading after-sales service in the Spanish real estate market. It also increases its number of partners, which now exceeds 3,000 agencies in the sector, not to mention the larger Spanish real estate networks. These numbers speak for themselves.

Through this partnership, Papernest will be able to improve the experience of its customers, which will be positively valued by all of them and in turn, this will translate into customer loyalty. As for its professionals, they will have the opportunity to start enjoying our features, such as Open House services and they will also have access to customised online job training for their teams.

The partnership has already materialised, for now in the form of a webinar held on 23 November 2021. Under the title "10 key tips that will change the way you manage your real estate agency", the participating agencies received recommendations from Lucas López, from Papernest Spain, and María Leguizamón, from Floorfy. These collaborations will continue in the future.

The importance of the digitalisation of the real estate sector

The digitalisation of real estate is experiencing unprecedented momentum. Since people have been confined to their homes as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, tele-working gained ground and the most diverse economic sectors have had to make a tremendous effort to ensure activity wasn't slowed down. Working through the Internet has been the most convenient solution for a multitude of firms, and this is how companies linked to the real estate world have made the leap and offered their services to potential clients, regardless of where they are on the planet.

The time is gone where the public were only interested in the limits of local and regional level. Digitalisation breaks down physical barriers, and allows us to develop such innovative solutions as our virtual guided tours of properties of all kinds that are being put on the market for sale or rent.

In short, Papernest joins Floorfy's list of partners. Together we are transforming the way in which the properties available on the market are made known, multiplying the number of visits to them and favouring the growth of the business volume. The optimisation of the service offered by real estate agencies and other companies in the sector has not gone unnoticed, and more and more clients are opting for this model.
